A simple tip for achieving a better latch
If you’re struggling with getting into a good position with breastfeeding, particularly in the early days when you might feel engorged or heavy you might find rolling up a muslin and placing it under the breast you intend to feed from really helpful.
It will give a bit of ‘lift’ to your breast and make it a better height for baby to latch onto, especially if well supported by a comfortable cushion. This can prevent a pull on the latch, making it more comfortable for both of you. In turn improves the efficiency of your feed!
